Dude, I went to college there for 3 years. It's painful going from a prep school education in Massachusetts to Central Maine. Many eyes and ears were wanting to be gauged out.

Congrats to Minnesota. Everything at this point seems to be pointing to them IMO. The fact that money means little to nothing in his decision tells me its all about family for him, and in the end I think he will want to play were he grew up. At the very least somewhere close by in the West.

So, although nothing is official, I think it'll be Minny.

Just last week, a local news station compared private donations being made to zoos to ND having a financial surplus, but we have a bunch of starving children. You can't make this asinine **** up.
Which news station was it?

Okay.. I know the news is slow as anything, but we really have strayed off-topic here.

Let's venture back.

I mean I couldnt even imagine what I would do. Lets say Patrick Kane were a free agent and it was down to a few teams, he fly's home to Buffalo to announce he is signing somewhere else.

Doesn't matter, it sounds like something one of the three news "teams" in Fargo would do.

If I had his jersey, I'd burn it if that happened. And if I owned fathead, I would change his price to $17.41. But I can do neither.

If Parise said himself money isn't the issue, Parise and Suter could both sign in Chicago for around $7 million or a tad higher and create a legitimate core of eight well-respected players in this league that would consist of Sharp, Toews, Kane, Hossa, Parise, Keith, Seabrook, and Suter. Not fair. Pipedream.

Anywere he goes at this point he'll be winning. He's a game changer, and the addition of him to Minnesota would make them a dangerous team in a couple years.

Yeah, but doesnt make sense for Chicago. They would be in a hole with the cap. Only one natural center, horrible bottom 6, no room for signings.

I also (as a Pens fan ), see that if the money is not the issue, the only things that matter are winning and his family. He probably would get a cup in Pittsburgh in the next few years. As for Minnesota, not a true candidate for Cup, but his family/future wife are there.

Not an easy decision.
