When your franchise goalie wants 6.5M you pay it. It may be high this year but in 2 or 3 years when all the contracts are up and all the goalies are re-signing I bet he'll be closer to the average of a starting goalie.

With the Rinne signing last season, I was expeting 7mil/year for Price, but the latest Quick contract got me thinking that we could have had less... Anyways, it was his negociations, Price had all the leverage in the world... now it's done, time to actually improve this mofo team.
