Honestly, that isn't a crazy demand. I would do it, depending on the prospect.
Hags is a really a good player, but I think his ceiling is the 2nd line. I wouldn't be livid if he was moved for the right piece.
The problem is we lose players for our PK.
I would too.
Dubinsky would be going either way, and if you can capture a sell-high type of moment on Hagelin, you do it. I think the offensively inept Hagelin in the playoffs is closer to the player we'd see longterm.
WTF?! Hasnt that gone against everything else we have been reading???
unless something has changed? in the last few days where CK, Stepan or Mcdonagh don't have to go the other way, Sather does not want Nash as much as everyone thinks he does.
I really think the Blue Jackets are delusional enough to think they can land Callahan. Swap captain-for-captain and start building a hard-working team that is tough to play against.
It's time to move on. Hell, it was time to move on at the trade deadline.
I would stop cheering for the team. Ok that may've been a bit harsh, but I would lose a lot of interest in the Rangers.

he wasn't inept, he was just out of his depth. First line minutes for a rookie who was going against teams best Dmen and expected to win puck battles.
If he was slotted in the right spot, he is a very dangerous player. He just isn't a first liner.
The best player on a team that went to the conference finals is a third liner?
He wasn't the best player on the Yotes but that's besides the point. He's not better than Gaborik or Callahan. That means he's the third line RW on the Rangers.
MY GUESS (total guess) if this new "report" is indeed true, Sather is not willing to part with hagelin either, which is telling everyone in the world I don't want Rick Nash anymore.

Which is silly, Hagelin should not be holding Sather up.

0 goals, 3 assists in 17 playoff games while getting the aforementioned spot on the first line. Thats the definition of inept.
I like him as a player. Hes fast and well-schooled, but I think its a real mistake to expect any sort of consistent offensive contribution from him. Like I said, wouldnt mind selling high on him at all.
