Washington Capitals 2012 Prospect Poll - #1
Note: I know many of you will probably wish to see the Prospect Camp that starts tomorrow to vote, so I made the vote deadline June 11th.
I will add one prospect each poll, so post who I should add in Poll #2, and comment with who you voted.

Why not just start this after development camp is over on Saturday?

Because only 2 of the 5 players are even at the camp?

Difficult to go against Holtby because of his success already. Don't see how you can. A proven starting goalie with the ability to step his game up even more in the playoffs? Those are few and far between my friends, few and far.

Holtby and Orlov (especially) shouldn't count, but they do, so they have to be judged without that in mind. Anyway, I can't vote, but it has to be Kuznetsov. Add...I don't know, Schilling?

Forsberg
Holtby and Orlov aren't prospects, as in they WILL be on the Caps roster this year.
Kuz may never get here
Galiev is not as talented as the other four here.

Schilling is by far their best defensive prospect at this point, and Flemming is probably above Wey too. The only other guy I could see adding next is Wilson.
The fact that Kuznetsov may never get here has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

^And like I already said, once Holtby and Orlov are in the poll, the fact that they shouldn't have been included becomes irrelevant. For the sake of this poll, they indisputably are prospects, whether they really still are or not. Congratulations on being completely irrational in casting your vote.

According to Hockeysfuture, a player is considered a prospect until he plays 65 NHL games. (45 for goalies)
Orlov has only played 60, and Holtby has only played 35. (Including Playoff games)

You should probably mention that people are supposed to comment with who they want added.
Voted Kuzya.
Add Wilson.

And I would put Kundratek ahead of Flemming and Wey.
Voted Kuz, add Schilling.

However, since they do technically count.
Holtby.

Voted Kuznetsov, add Wilson. Still don't understand how Orlov is still a prospect.
