I'm hoping either Devils or the Wild. Him going to Pittsburgh, Philly Chicago, or Detroit just wouldn't be fair

I think it'd be hilarious if Pittsburgh missed out on both Parise and Suter after all the talk about getting both last week.

Parise is going to be a Wild.
That sounds terrible.

I'd like that. Minnesota is my favorite Western Conference team, mainly because I really like their third jerseys.

That is a good looking jersey.
It would be cool if he went to the West.

Luke DeCock @LukeDeCock
@MikeTheJet Corvo also fits depth chart and is cheaper than Allen would have been. Wouldn't be surprised if there were other changes on D.
There may be hope.

I wish Parise would sign a 1 yr contract from now on, so we could re-live this every year.

I don't care what team he ends up with, out west is better.
I'm just saying it sounds strange to say "He's a ranger, Devil, Flyer" vs "He's a Wild".

I can't take Verbeek at his word since he's the asshat that got into a fist fight in a Buffalo bar with a 19 year old Chris Pronger in tow. That team had some issues beyond McGuire's complete incompetence.

A drunk gm? The best part of that story was it reaffirmed how fast Sanderson was, they had to chase him a few blocks and nabbed him trying to hop a chain link fence.

Who couldn't love a franchise like that?
Sounds very entertaining.

Just keep staring him down Rutherford.

I'm not mad at the guy, but just hurry up already.
Dave Molinari @MolinariPG
Parise tells Minneapolis Star-Tribune he has not made a decision about where to sign and has yet to discuss the situation with his fiancee

I'm very curious to know what the offer is if it doesn't involve Faulk, Skinner or Murphy. Probably at least Rask, 2 firsts as a start.

I'd thought I was reading into JR's words initially but given Luke's comment, he doesn't mention the players as he usually has done in years past.
"We like the
balance we have on defense," he said. "We’re comfortable with our
defensive structure ."
Maybe it's wishful thinking but then again, maybe not.

We need to make a hard run at Semin now. With everyone else (seemingly) entagled in the Parise sweepstakes, if we put an attractive offer in front of him (say 4 yrs @ $7), we might well get him to sign on the dotted line.
AFTER Parise signs I think the Semin stakes will heat up quite a bit.
