Rissling and Galiev stood out to me in the first. Rissling maybe because of his size.

The crowd here is really impressive.

Thought Wilson and Martinsen were the best forwards. Carrick had a couple of big hits and was getting into it with a forward.

Whichever player had the second assist on reds first goal made a very creative play.

Kostenkov is playing much better than yesterday. Made at least 3 difficult saves before red scored the first goal of the game.

Looking forward to watching white in the attack zone as Im behind the net.

Tate made that look fairly easy. Gotta think Iafrate's trying to make an impression - not sure that's the way to do it.

Tate asked Iafrate: "Wanna go ?" Before Iafrate interfered with Tate prior to the fight.

Forsberg looked dangerous with the puck on his stick.

Thanks for the link guys. I went the last two years mainly for the equipment sale but this link was better then cramming into the iceplex. Great game too.

Tate seemed to be trolling for activity from the git go. In the first period along the boards behind red's goal he through an elbow that a few of us in the crowd thought was unnecessary. Iafrate might have a short fuse, when he retaliated by knocking the stick out of Tate's hands. He was obviously somewhat reluctant when he saw Tate remove his helmet and gloves. Big disparity in height and arm length between the two and it showed when all Iafrate tried to do was hold on for dear life at a safe distance. Thought it was a bit bush of Tate to throw a couple while they were down on the ice. All of that being said, thought Tate all around had a decent game and week. Felt bad for Iafrate but he ended on a high note as it was his play in OT when he faked the slapper from the blue line and took the puck down further then passing which led to the goal.

Kostenko looked real good in the first period. Can't say that the play of Galiev, Forsberg or Wilson really jumped out in the scrimmage. I was impressed with the play of Vallorani especially during one spate on white's PP when he made a nifty pass to Forsberg. Wey and Schilling both continued to look steady on defense and Haar looked good as well.

Excellent reports from all who attended. To be frank, we had a couple guys look good, but not on a consistent basis. What we didn't have is an outstanding player waiting in the wings, which you rarely have at a developmental camp. Galiev did nothing but prove that people on here view stats rather then the player. This guy is AT LEAST a year away, Wilson is probably 2 years out. Forsberg, through proper development could make a push for next year. What I did learn for a fact, instead of guessing, is that our cupboard is very, very thin.

Just watched the White PP, Carrick is gonna be good. Wow him on the point for the PP is awesome.

Uhhh yeah Forsberg has Ovi's feet, kid can not look down and kick the puck to his stick.

Just got back after the Metro shutdown. Forsberg and Schilling stood out for me with upside and polish respectively. Tom Wilson Loves to hit and has boy band hair. Galiev seems to be around the puck a lot but I don't know if he'll be able to finish on the next level.

Can you do it while moving or being harassed by 3 players?

Why are people mad that Soberg is going back to his home country?

I doubt he'd get much time in Hershey and I'd rather he get potentially number 1 seasoning somewhere else. Or at the very least, prepare for the jump to the American game.

What did everyone think of Martinsen ? He seemed pretty solid to me.

Played better on Friday, but he always seemed to be in position no matter which zone he was in.

Maybe I have missed some of the discussion, but seems to me most people on here expect Galiev to play this season in Hershey; it's some Caps' writers suggesting he may play somewhere else.

Martinsen seemed decent, big decent mobility and used his body well. Tried to do a bit too much at one point, but didnt have much offensive help. He seemed active.

When I see him name I think of ex Flyers goon Steve Martinson who once attacked a Cap in the penalty box in preseason long ago.
