Orlov according to Hunter was scratched because of a turn over against the Rangers in the last game of the season.
You were serious? Yeesh...

Kuz made his decision to stay in the KHL on May 1, which was long before the playoffs.

He made it clear he didn't want to get scratched because Dale Hunter is an xenophobic tool.

And WTF are you talking about way long before the playoffs, Game 7 against the Bruins was April 24th.

Can you all take the Kuznetsov discussion to the thread about him, please, and keep this about the development camp starting on Monday. Thank you!

@SDarling_33: People watching at ‪#LoganInternational‬ off to DC for camp

Scott Darling, confirmed goaltender and another former Indiana Ice player (teammates with Carlson, Schilling, Syner & Cullen in '07-08).

Last I checked, it's difficult to run a d-camp without goalies

There are patterns with some of the invites as in past years, one assumes based on relationships with coaches, agents, organizations. Not a surprise.

Never let logic get in the way of a good rant.

@IgorKleyner: #caps dev camp roster may get a +1. G Sergei Kostenko, 7th rd pick is trying to work through his visa problems, hopes to be at KCI next week.

@thehamma12: Want to wish the brother in law @barris11 good luck in Washington at Caps camp. #mealticket

Brant Harris, RW, UConn.

Saw the Kostenko tweet, was coming to post it, heh; would be nice if he was able to make it; I was wondering if it might be a visa issue.

Thanks, Harris added to the list.

The weather is bad, but it's bad in a lot of places; still I'm sure we will hear it mentioned in interviews, especially since some have already arrived and the rest should be expected today and this weekend is miserable even if you live here. As to the week, relatively speaking, not as horrible as it has been the last few weeks according to the forecast on weather.com, should be in the mid-80s, used zip code 22203, which is zip for Kettler.

Added some more FA invite information (again nothing confirmed by the team at this time):

As of now, idd to be attending,:

20F: 13 on roster plus 7 invites
11D: 7 on roster plus 4 invites
4G: 2 on roster plus 2 invites

Might only be missing 1 dman on the list as of now and a few forwards assuming they aimed for 6D and 12F for each group.

I played at Kettler yesterday, and the ice is pretty bad at the moment. Hope that doesn't slow down the action at dev camp too much.

I assume you played on the Caps rink? Disappointing to hear, but not surprised given the power outage, new ice and the weather conditions overall. Hopefully, things improve.

It's been brutal up here eh? My A/C is busted....

Nice to see Kostenko make the effort to want to come to camp, not sure why we didn't draft Makarov in stead though.
