Aeros don't play until the 11th, so it's not a ridiculously huge deal. If it starts to happen in other places though, then there's a good chance it means something.
Is it confirmed that it was for that reason? Didn't he just recently come back from an injury too?

???
Houston is playing right now. He was pulled from pre-game.

I'm aware. Meant that they don't play again until the 11th. But are the reports 100% certain he didn't strain his injury or something, and that this is lockout related?

I saw a different tweet. Lemme try and find it.
Edit: Can't find it, but if Russo gets the message straight from Fletcher saying it's because of training camp, that's probably the real reason. Or main reason at least.

Impossible to be 100% certain, but the report is from Russo who is one of the best beat reporters in the game.
No reason to believe he'd report something as fact if it wasn't true.

How long is it going to take for the Stars to make it back to the Stanley Cup Finals? Will Jamie Benn be known as a clutch playoff performer? Based on his history in lesser leagues the chances look pretty good. What do you think?

No idea, that's impossible to tell exactly, given how much luck plays in. But I'll give it a shot.
I'd give us anywhere from 3 to 5 years before we're contenders, assuming this group of prospects pans out for the most part.
I think Benn will be. Look no further than his play in the MC in Juniors, and then in the run in the AHL when he was sent down. Both times he was the go-to guy, and he came up huge. On the off chance we ever make a Cup run, I'd be willing to bet either he or Lehtonen took home the Conn Smythe.
But let's get to contention status before we start speculating any of that. No telling what might happen, who might turn out, who might bust, and if we have another gem in the rough or not. All we know is that the future looks bright, and anything can happen in the playoffs.
