Don't think Ashton will ever put up great numbers, but he will be a very good third liner that can pot 15-20 goals a year imo.

for a third liner 15-20 is excellent. He is just a hard worker who can be in the NHL just for his board play imo, its excellent.

Torn between Finn and Percy, voted Finn. I can see both being reliable 2-way 2nd pairing dmen. I see Ashton as more of a solid 3rd line winger who can *MAYBE* crack the 2nd line, I don't think that's as valuable.

If Nazem Kadri is good enough to be our 2nd best prospect then Kenny Ryan is at least our 8th best. He was a 2nd round pick and nobody shows him the love he deserves because he was cutting his teeth in the East Coast league instead of getting sent back to junior for an overage season. He's not a big time goal scorer but he's a guy who'll do what needs to be done to help his team win, he probably could have helped the Marlies in the finals to be honest.

I went with Percy. There is still alot of legitimate talent left in the prospect pool after him though....I expect Ross to be an NHL player, and Ashton as well. I have high expectations of McKegg too, although that's much more of a longshot.

I like Ryan, but he isn't even a top 20 propsects for us.

That's pretty harsh for a kid who already has the toughest ring to win in hockey, and played a big part in winning it. He's got a drive to his game and such a work ethic to improve as a player that I would value him more than some of our more flashy "skilled" prospects who may or may not have the same drive.
