I really hope the Sharks make a push to get Shane Doan now. If not, I'll be pretty disappointed.

Anyway, good for the Wild. So who's left?
Doan, Semin, Wolski...?

Pierre LeBrun said that Kings are going to go hard for Doan too.

LOL if the Wild are a better team than us with Coyle/Seto/Heatley/Suter/etc. They have the supporting cast in place already. Always felt like they were missing half of a top line/d-pair.

But that certainly doesn't mean the deal is dead. Of course, with Couture unavailable, San Jose would almost certainly have to include Joe Pavelski and/or Ryane Clowe, a first round draft pick, and a goaltender or top prospect in order to land one of the league's best goal-scorers ..."

God this is scary (the and part)

Still no center depth or depth on d. Suter and Gilbert will be logging a ton of minutes.

Probably, but could he look past that to be reunited with his buddies?

Other than having Wingels on the left, it's not too bad.

Those contract are insane. Two great players, but there's no way I'd want DW to pay that kind of $ for either one. And as Sharks fans know all too well, the games aren't played on paper. Also, who exactly is this "supporting cast" that you speak of? Backstrom and Clutterbuck?

If that's the case, we're better off signing Semin and moving Pavs to the 3rd line.

DW says we are going "ALL IN" every year but if that's the case we should definitely be offering Semin a 1 year deal worth whatever he wants. 9 million? whatever it takes. It's only 1 year and we could buy out Handguns.

so clowe, 1st (who cares any ways its going to be late teens early 20's), and heemskerk (or sateri).

if columbus wants both pavs and clowe then they can have fun playing there only good player while he is disinterested in playing in columbus.

No its not too bad at all.

Has that ever happened? In the history of NHL trades? A decently skilled/payed player being traded to a team and then traded back the next year? Good trivia questions

Erik Cole went from Carolina to Edmonton and then back to Carolina.

Been reported too that Parise has a full NMC, didn't read anything on Suter, but I imagine same deal.

My oh my, the State of Hockey landed both Parise and Suter.
Well I know who I'm playing as in NHL 13.

This is nice for the Wild, but it doesn't make them a legit contender this coming season. They've got plenty of holes in their lineup.
