Good cap hit. Dallas should continue on with the trend and sign Hasek.

Well, I guess dallas added some proven NHL experience to their team with jagr, Whitney and Roy.

Cingrats to Jagr for another huge payday.

Remember those threads "what player doesnt look good in a jersey"

Well, this is #1.

Disappointed he went to the stars, so hard to watch that team and there low camera angles.

Texas has no state income tax either, so he pockets an additional 5-7% over what he would make possibly in another state.

At only 5%, he pockets an additional $225,000 out of this deal compared to what he would have to pay in tax in other states.

Jagr has accomplished everything there is to do in hockey, why are people so desperate to disparage him because he's looking to collect as many greenbacks as possible before retiring?

Jagr is winning with this deal. I think the Stars will surprise quite a few people this year if their moves pan out.

Florida has no state income tax either.

Some states without state income taxes, Texas being one, make up for it with high property taxes. But Jagr only signed a one year deal, so he likely will only rent this year and will have no associated property taxes.

I like the low camera angles. I think Florida is another team that has them pretty low. They're much better than the cameras in SJ that are near the clouds.

Good for Jagr (not sarcastic), he's getting more money and he will get a chance to help the Stars to the playoffs.

Don't think I've ever seen such a boom-or-bust lineup in my life.

It's possible that they dominate, and equally possible that they're atrocious.
