1) Because it was funny

Would you rather have Occupy Wall Street AND tourists? Thank god that ****'s out of Zuccotti Park.

This is ridiculous. I shave every morning before I come to work, and here it is 9 hours later and I've got a goatee.

I swear if you stared at my face you can probably watch my facial hair grow.

With an expiring gym membership (and little time to go of late), I've begun running at my old high school's track for cardio. Today, I went out and bought one 55-pound dumbbell to continue lifting to some degree.

Maybe a silly question, but does anyone have any suggestions for one-dumbbell workouts? (besides just lifting)

So, I've just come to a realization on something. That something is irrevelant, but interesting nonetheless. It involved really going back into my memory and piecing together a couple of things/people I haven't even heard from in years.

Have you ever felt like someone completely pulled a fast one on you and didn't tell you something in the hopes that you would never figure out the truth?

Again, I don't even care. But damn, do I feel dumb at the same time.

They didn't tell you anything at all, or they told an actual lie?

Both have happened to me. Yes, I figure it out at a time in which it's totally irrelevant to bring up to that person/group because it's so far gone. And yes, I almost feel ashamed of myself for having not put the pieces together sooner. I give myself a big old facepalm every time I think about said instances.

It was just something that was never told to me but was probably always in the back of their mind "I wonder if he'll ever figure it out."

And yes, I feel like facepalming.

Plenty of facepalm to go around.

Sounds like a pretty touchy subject, but one that I'm assuming involves people you aren't very close with anymore - I'll conclude that's for good reason. If it's already a lost situation, no reason to "facepalm" for it.

I feel like I lurk and lurk on this board, and then I have strong opinions about stupid lounge posts.

It's a touchy subject because said people may very well read this

One thing is for certain, I'm going to be a little more careful with what I post around here now.

If I know something is wrong, or someone lied to me I can't take that. I hate being left in the dark. I'm the kind of person that if something is said/happens and I know there is more it will eat at me until I figure it out. I will keep pushing until I get what I want in that matter. No way would I be as calm as you in this position.

Yikes. Interesting development. Good luck.

At the very least, using the facepalm emoticon makes sense.
