I'm so glad both of them avoided Detroit.

Now we'll see what they can do with their super duper homegrown talent and probably a lazy Semin (probably) on their team.

I could see them struggling badly this year.

Parise, Roy, and Jagr all gone out west. Sometimes things get better all on their own.

With Suter leaving Nashville I doubt Weber signs a long term deal with the Predators. Not if he wants his career to mean anything.

Alright Parise and Suter down. Now things get interesting. Bobby Ryan, Rick Nash, Reberto Luongo its time to shine.

Oh ya and time for Burke to do something this offseason

Good for the Wild. Glad they went there instead of Pittsburgh, Detroit, etc. Now that the big fish have signed, let's get this trade market going.

I hope so. I appreciate what Minnesota means to hockey in the States and I REALLY want them to be successful. I don't really care for specific teams outside of the Leafs but I'd really like a reason to root for the Wild!

I'm thinking they both sign with the Wild shortly and we can get things rolling.
Suter & Parise sign with Minny
Nash gets traded to NYR
Our turn...what do we do?
So Im guessing ths means that Rick Nash will be heading to New York now?

Good for the Wild. Add in prospects like Granlund, Coyle, Phillips, Brodin and Dumba, they should be a good team down the line.

Not that I expected either to sign with the leafs but how awesome would it be to have a day like this

Adding two top end players to finish off a roster

this

The Minny fans have done everything to deserve a great team. Plus I'm just glad that Parise/Suter aren't in the East.

Lol, of course maclean said that, that was his one success and he won't let anyone forget it. He'll ride Rick nashs coat tails for ever. Pathetic, a monkey would have made that pick, the next year was a disaster, I bet maclean worked no zheredev talk into his contract.

Suter or Parise > anything that BUFF got last year. These guys are proven stars and top players, what is he trying to say?

*rim shot*

Should see a flurry of activity today/tomorrow from the Suter/Parise fallout.

Even with those massive acquisitions, call me crazy, but the Wild still aren't a "lock" for the postseason. A much improved team though.

They need one more top 6 forward to shore up their offense. If they can do that, they are an extremely powerful team, atleast on paper.
