I'm actually happy for the Wild. They're so stacked now.

Same. At least it's not Pittsburgh or Detroit.

I'd be excited if we signed a Semin, but honestly it would be just as likely to be a bust as a boon.
That would be very exciting! But..

I guess I'm so confused ATF, would the management that's preached " we don't rush juniors" and won't move Marky up to give him a full yr, do that?

I personally would LOVE it if we add Huberdeau-Bjugstad-Howden as a 2nd line and then Bergy-Goc-Upshall.. Skille-Matthias-Parros.

Many may say we NEED somebody.. Sure, it'd be nice to add a guy like Doan. But unless we add a really good player, I'd rather go with the kids.

I wouldn't want Parise/Suter for 13 years for 200M anyways.

Parise is from Minny, wife also... Suter wanted the cash IMO.

It will take 30 years before we have a true superstar born in SoFla that makes it to free-agency... Just wait !

I think the talk about not rushing Markstrom is a smokescreen. I think they are worried about his ability to stay healthy for an entire season. They want two capable NHL goalies. They don't think that Theo can carry a full load and if Markstrom misses a significant amount of time they wouldn't want to resort to an AHL callup.

Just my opinion of course.

Happy for the Wild.

They stole the show this year like the Panthers did last year.

A classy fan base that deserves some success.

I would. Minnesota is a beautiful to place to live, especially if you're making over 7 million bucks a year.

We definitely had the cap, money wise, to do what Minnesota did, although I understand the difference. Very similar as we both have extremely solid prospect pools. Would've been amazing. Can't say I'm not jealous. Two of my all time favorite players.

We don't have the money to throw the ridiculous bonuses at Parise and Suter that they got from Minny. The annual salary is only part of it.

You know, I usually don't care about big name free agents because I know we can't sign them.

But when a team like Minnesota signs both big names FAs, it kinda leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

When do we get that joyous moment where we get to have a big name come here? ****ing Minnesota man? Seriously?

Seems that way for sure.

Just sped thru their thread, you can feel the joy. Not an obnoxious post to be found.
