Especially versteeg (injury perhaps). Then they started becoming too fancy too much passing. And production went down.

Also amazed at how many goals we scored on the PP last year. That was our bread and butter. I dont know the statistics but I would not be surprised in the games we won last season we scored a PP goal 80-90% of the time.

I sincerely hope either/both kuli/Guds finds their point shot this coming season.
Dude you needed to sign up for summer A or B

Yeah, especially Steeger with the puck. It seemed like he didn't even know how to play anymore. He seemed so lost, and he played with the puck. Our top line was really good until December, I think if we keep the same strategy and like you said stay in front of the net more often, that top line is going to be really good.

Jealous. Wish we had an outdoor rink somewhere around here at UCF.

Oh, and Panthers free agency and stuff.

If i ever struck it rich one of things I would love to do besides own the Panthers would be to build an indoor hockey rink at UF. That is one of things i regret most about going to school in the south. I know a lot of friends/family who went to U Mich and I dont think I would ever get any studying done there-I would be at the hockey games every night.

Synthetic ice is so lame. Especially when you're not allowed to skate on it.

Although if they'd set up a rink in front of the arena to play hockey on... I think that'd be one of the coolest experiences ever.

Speaking of this area and ice rinks, does anyone know if there are there any others besides the RDV Sportsplex in Maitland and the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee? People up north may think South Florida lacks them, but there compared to the Orlando area, there's a ton more.

they have an outdoor rink near broward hall. There is no indoor ice skating rink in Gainesville. UF has an ice hockey team they play in Jacksonville.

Yup, I'm surprised he hasn't been sheeted yet. I have no doubt that there's a team out there willing to overpay and sacrifice the picks hoping we don't match. We better get him locked up soon because it's bound to happen.

I'm not positive, but I don't think you can tender an offer sheet to a player coming off his ELC.

The fact that he hasn't been sheeted scares me, honestly. It says that the Panthers will probably sign most sheets sent Kulikov's way. It might be Kulikov not interested in a long-term plan.

Or, might be that Kuli has turned every off down. Dunno, but Tallon didn't seem to think arbitration was important with Kuli like he did Versteeg.

As the recent UF graduate of the group, I know the ice hockey team (which is actually pretty good within their conference and stuff) plays at incredible ice in Jacksonville. I happen to be the former president of another non-NCAA sport team on campus so I know the hockey kids really well (we report to the same authority figure). There practice schedule is insane bc it's 1.5 hours each way to the rink. They are pushing for an ice rink on site at SW rec and it looks like they will get it in about 5 years.

In other news... I just noticed that my new Apt in Arlington, Virginia is accross the street from the capitals practice facility....

I don't remember hearing this in the NHL CBA RE: ELC RFAs and OSs. Got a link?
