I'd be all for brining back Dominic Moore for depth at centre and veteran presence at the right price.

Anybody else thinks we should sign Homlstrom to play in our Top 6? A big body and you try him for one year.

I really wish we signed Semin. Sadly not a Bergevin or Therrien player..

He'd bring a whole new dimension to this team's offense. I'm talking about ''goal scoring'', a very rare talent on Montreal's roster.

He would be the perfect top 9/pp specialist but now we need someone that can play a some minutes in the top 6. Not sure he is capable at this point in his career.

thinking long term...if semin is signed to a 5-6 year deal, he'd look great with galchenyuk. I mean doesn't Yakupov project to be semin type scorer in the NHL? so why not bring a similar player to his beloved sarnia linemate?

The bidding war for Semin will probably bring his salary up to 6.5/7M on a 5-6 year term. Bergevin would probably have to best those numbers to land him too. You'd want to invest that much in Semin?

Gotta go the trade route, or just stick with what you have and try again next July.

true he was only tied for the leading scorer for the predators in the playoffs...terrible. Habs were definitely bettter than the predators last year.

Who are you are willing to trade? Who will be available next year?

1. No one you want to trade will have to be involved to get the player you want in a trade

2. The crop of ufa's next year can be just as bad.
