Well ****! It's gonna suck playing the Wild. Parise, Suter, Konopka, Kassian. Go easy on my Oil till we get a little more seasoned.

Congrats guys, I'd be stoked as hell if I were you.

This is crazy. On the plus side I don't have to feel horrible about myself for the fact that I love Parise.

Let's hope Parise can stay healthy for that long-term contract. Now let's see how the goaltending situation is going to be with Backstrom getting paid $6 million this upcoming season. Some salary could have to be moved for two big deals like this.

Wow good on Minny, they just got a lot better. They also have some good young kids coming through the ranks.

THANK GOD Pittsburgh didn't get them both.

We'd all be ****ED.
Hey you managed to say that without bashing the Pens or their fans.

Kudos.

After winning the Cup, the whole Kovalchuk thing doesn't sting anymore; however, this couldn't have worked out better for those Kings fans that still hate the guy.

It was obvious at the time that he made the wrong hockey decision and now he's basically back in Atlanta. It was all about the money and I hope NJ fans realize that now.

Back on topic, this is great for the Wild and for its fans. NW has been a joke so it's nice to see Vancouver have to play some tough games within the division. I'm not worried as a Kings fan though as any team with Heatley on it will never win the Cup but as a season seat holder, I'm happy that the two games against the Wild will be better watch.

Congrats Wild fans. You have to love when management goes all in like this.

Also, so awesome they didn't go to Detroit or Pittsburgh. Nice cap-clearing there Pittsburgh.

Sucks they're coming to NW, but good for Wild and their fans.

Bring it Minny.

Edmonton: Eberle, Yakupov, RNH, Schultz, Hall
Minnesota: Parise, Suter, Koivu, Grundland, Dumba, etc

The Northwest Division will be a hell of a lot of fun now with some legit competition.

I understand Devils fans are upset, but come on, the guy went home and didn't go to an Atlantic Division rival. Stop acting like he's a scum traitor.

Apparently Suter and Parise got the same 98 over 13. Cap space = gone.

Not a fantastic, seemingly definite Cup-contending roster, but not tremendously far away, either. Some of the guys on Minny's D-core are terribly underrated.

Assuming no horrid injury luck, Wild should be an almost definite playoff team, at the very least.

This is just wow. Mirror deals for Parise and Suter. The Wild pulled it off, no doubt about that. Will see how it all turns out, but getting the top guys at forward and defence out of this UFA period is pretty damn impressive.
