What if the new CBA lowers the Players Cost % but does not call for across the board salary cut. If you make the cost 51%, then the cap does not change from last year. Only 4 teams right now are over last year's cap.

Funny stuff! Or is it just sour grapes that east coast fans think only their teams can sign UFA's? The Wild missed the playoffs last year by 12 points and that was with half of their top 6 forwards missing substantial time due to injuries. I would say if Parise gets 55 points and everyone stays healthy they make the playoffs for sure.
