Nope

Honestly it will be interesting to see if there is any dropoff in Weber's game now that he has lost his partner (And defensive safety net)

No, I'm not sure there is a player outside of maybe Malkin I'd give up 4 1sts for.

I'd rather trade for his rights. Both unlikely.

No....Nashville would match any offsersheet, which is why Weber wouldn't sign one.

Can't we make the same assumption about Suter? Just a product of the system? And not worth All that money wouldn't that suck for the wild?

The trendy thing is to say that Suter is better than weber.

I don't think people realize how rare offer sheets really are, especially for franchise defensemen.

It would cost way too much to offer sheet Weber

LOL, really?

If I was Blowman, I would offer sheet Weber without a second thought. For the outrageously low price of four first round picks, are you kidding me?

Weber puts this team as the Cup front runner for half a decade, more so then Suter, Parise could ever dream of. Four low end first rounders is chump change for a top three defenseman in the NHL. The fact that the Hawks prospect list is as deep as it is, its a no brainer to consider.

That's his point. Weber>Suter, but because Suter was the available one, people were trying to inflate Suter's greatness to a level beyond where Weber is, which is crazy.

If the Hawks could sign either for the same price I take Weber. He is big, strong, mean, has a rocket of a shot and is great in his own end.

He is the much better fit for this team than Suter could ever dream, the perfect partner for Leddy.. but the Hawks aren't doing it.
