We respect the Preds here, because they were built the same way the old Devils Cup teams were. Elite goaltending, elite defence, and just enough scoring to win.
Sorry for your loss, and thanks for your sympathy.

Agreed. Pred fans need to chant "Weber is better".
I already went to the Preds board, and made a post about how I feel about their team.
Remember when people called Minnesota New Jersey West? LOL! I think Lemaire was the only reason for that. Him being coach there.
I think of Nashville as Jersey West if anything. Aside from the Wings who are much older than both our franchises, so I won't count them, Nashville is the team dedicated the most to winning in the West. Nashville has missed the playoffs once since the lockout, and the same can't be said for any other of the newer NHL teams, and the Wild are definitely no exception as they've been irrelevant since one of the greatest coaches of all time left them.
A lot of strange similarities in our organization too. Great goaltending, and to top that off goaltenders who stuck by the organization without going to the market(Marty did it for the first time this year) Also Marty's connections to Pekka's pads!
Nashville, as one of the best crowds (in my opinion) in the NHL, I extend a welcome invitation to the Prudential Center on November 11th. The Wild will be joining us, as well.
With our experience in boo'ing the likes of Gomez and Martin, and the creativity from the stands of Nashville, I think we could truly make it a memorable experience for our favorite Wild men, Suter & Praise
The Predators were my pick to make it out of the West at the start of the playoffs. I have no idea why Suter would want to bail on that team. I would have respected Parise more if he signed with Nashville, I think that would have made them a true contender.
Instead, after bull ******** about "winning is the most important thing" for a year, he chooses to sign with a team that finished TWENTY ONE points behind the Devils last season. A team that is now a borderline playoff team after signing the top TWO free agents available.
I don't think this will be as big a hit for either team as many will speculate. Significant losses for sure, but certainly far from crippling. Both teams will get along fine without their departed stars.
