I'd like to see a man who's been mugged by a winner.

To clarify the original post....Manchester ( LA ) center Yanick Lehoux is out with a knee sprain ( possible torn ligament ) caused by a questionable hit by Worcester ( St. Louis ) defenseman Brendan Buckley.

The Kings may not be playing, but they're still getting injured.

I was waiting for a link to the (NH) Union Leader describing Yanick getting roughed up by some local punks who took his wallet.

I believe another AHL Lehoux, Jason, was actually mugged a couple of years ago...might've been in Texas.

Last year, Martin Grenier and Jason Lehoux were mugged outside of a bar in Texas. Jason was then released because they felt that he was leading Grenier into the wrong crowd. Grenier was out for 2 weeks, or possibly longer, I believe.

Thanks. After the post, I searched online to make sure my memory was correct and couldn't find anything about it. I started wondering if my mind was making stuff up.

Considering there were about 12 guys that jumped the two of them, I don't they had much trouble.

Lehoux is out for the season:

http://www.theunionleader.com/articl...?article=49783

Buckley will miss the next two games against Manchester, but will be back for the Feb. 9th meeting. If there's any justice...he'll be leaving that game in worse condition than Lehoux did.

  I haven't seen the hit but, frankly, I don't care. I hope Ryan Flinn just kicks the **** out of this guy the next time they meet up.

Big blow to the Monarchs offense. (though they still have plenty of guns and should hopefully have Barney ready to go for the playoffs) I wonder if the rumours of Kelly possibly resigning in Manchester (I suppose in the event of a season and LA were to call up Cammalleri) will resurface? Not sure if it's even possible at this stage but it wouldn't be a bad idea to add another center to the team. (and one who is a familiar face)

Flinn, Parros, Kanko, Gleason, Rullier, Smyth and any other Monarch with a chance of dropping the gloves better do so to inflict some payback.

If I was a Kings' prospect I would have a clause of me being able to get money if I was injured...

Odds are I am going to be injured somewhere down the line...
