And for the record, I'm definitely on board with giving Semin a look here. Asbolutely worth a shot with his skills.

RE: BG - No, of course he`s not worth that much. Jim, kiwwi and I were talking about it yesterday that maybe it`s better if he doesn`t re-sign with us.

BUT I`m sure the Devils offered him less and we kinda have a hole to fill now, ya know.

Hope Lou can fix this.

And let's see what kind of player is 8 to 10 years from now. He'll go from 70 points a year to 50 and still be a 7.5mil cap hit. Good luck with all THAT.

What's next, that Kovy held him back this year? Zach got 80+ once in his career, this sounds like the same 100+ point nonsense when Gomez left.

Semin and Doan please.

This sucks, but we have to move on and sign some players to try to replace him. I really hope Lou doesn't sit around with his thumb up his ass though. Get out there and sign players while they are still available.

Which would suck but with the way that the cap is skyrocketing, in 8 years, 7.5 will be what borderline top 6 guys get paid!

Gonna be a harsh reality when he tries to stuff the puck in from the side of the net for the millionth time and it still doesn't work.

Gonna be an even harsher reality when the cap comes down in the new CBA and they find they're over the cap and still don't have that great a team.

You wanna get off his dick? You've been his biggest apologist in the last few hours, from what i've seen. He's not an 80+ point guy or a gamebreaker. simple

I'm well aware that he hit 94 points once

How much you wanna bet that Kovy has spoken to Semin at least once in the last 5 hours or so?

Regarding Parise`s departure, I can`t hate on him simply because I love the way he plays. At least he didn`t join the Pens. Le sigh.

Also, it`s gonna be so weird to see him jumping all over Koivu. Watch out, Wild fans, with his injury record, your newest toy might break his neck out of excitement.

What a fraud. Just can't get over that fact.

Both Poile and Lou and our entire organizations were treated really poorly, because this was planned. They had this thought out, together with the Wildm who had planned this for months.

I can tell you this, Parise, Suter, Fletcher, Leipold etc have made a lot of enemies today.

I never like Parise as a player or as a person, I never even had him among my favourite players. But I can't deny the fact what he meant to the team in terms of quality. Now he's created a huge hole to fill for Lou and that's the only thing that I'm pissed about.

We just played in the Stanley Cup finals, got within two wins of winning it all. And this is how our captain responds to unfinished business?!

What a ****ing jackass! I really hope he never reaches the playoffs in Minnesota.

I wonder how long it'll take them to realize Zach can't score outside of a 5x5 box right in front of the net? And those areas aren't as open in the postseason as they are in the regular season.

Not that it really matters but how is Kovalchuk's contract which we got fined a 1st rounder for any different then these contracts? Its BS but I bet the league won't do anything about it now, freakin double standards, this league has officially become a joke

The league gave up the ability to veto these contracts in the deal that got the kovy one approved.

I got a text yesterday at 2pm Minnesota time from my buddy who lives in that area that said, "in my very educated guess, right as we speak, the wild are trying to wrap up suter and parise at the same time. I'd say devs may be out now."

I didn't post it on here because he wasnt absolutely 100%. And im not in the rumor business so I didn't want to deal with anything but absolutes and done deals.

But yeah, he talked to someone and it started to come to fruition yest afternoon. I will save the text as proof if anyone wants to call it out and I will show it to cowbell next time we meet so he can see the text and time...

Like I said, I wasn't going to get the board all riled up over something that possibly wasn't true.

But yeah, he was right.

The bolded part is what shocks me the most. He never ****ing cared at all. He just wanted to crawl into a comfort zone and enjoy mediocre results playing with Suter. The winning part was never that important to him. **** him, he's a hypocrite for the ages.
