Probably since teams want to make a splash and the Wild made a tidal wave taking #1a and #1b away. He still is a locker room cancer and would be a huge asset if he turns it aroudn.

No kidding!

Are there any other players we can pick up with ridiculous amounts of photoshop images on the internet?

Or how about:

Meh, not great but not horrible, I don't think. We'll see how he does, hopefully he can provide us with some quality starts.

After the Suter/Parise signings I lost faith that Semin will be an option for us. I assumed Suter/Parise would sign for something comical, just not SO comical. Semin will be able to find a team willing to offer him something way out there as well, and if not he can just go back to Russia and probably make 12 million a year if he feels like it.

For me it was the Radulov KHL contract. They will pay Russians obscene amounts to play over there. The only hope you have is that Semin wants to be in the NHL, and/ or wants to stick it to the Caps.

Chevy doesn't think so. Lawless was asking him about lines today, where Jokinen would fit in. Chevy didn't want to hear any of it, and insisted we're still looking at upgrading.

Plus we have to sign Kane, Flood, and maybe Wellwood. I think Chevy is actually looking at upgrading that 2nd line RW over Wellwood, and if he can't do it he will sign Wellwood.

Am i the only person that thinks Wellwood will not come close to his 'career year' last year, so signing him likely means we tie up a Top 6 spot with a less productive player. Wellwood in our Top 6 just gives me an uneasy feeling that we won't be a playoff team.

Both references are a Masterpiece.

I realize the grammar is wrong as I'm referencing 2 things but it's the only way I could word Chris Masters' handle in the sentence.

Decent goalie on the cheap. The consensus on the Trade board is that he was solid until his concussion. Only a 1 year deal anyway. We'll see how it goes.

Nope. I've placed this about 8 times in the last 3 months.
Too high of shooting percentage compared to his career avg and too many secondary assists. Means he could repeat but it is a fluke.

Good to see the 1 year deal. For all we know if he returns to pre-Kane form we could really have a steal here.

Also what's up with the 601k salary? Is that league minimum now?

Has anyone notice that the Jets now have the #4, #5 and #6 overall picks from the 2004 draft in their line-up? Ladd was picked 4th by the Hurricanes, Wheeler was 5th by Phoenix and Montoya was 6th by the Rangers.

EDIT: Well, apparently WJP had. Sorry, should have read the whole thread before I posted.\

Pretty brutal draft. Only 3 all-stars in the first round.

56 career NHL starts is a little worrisome.
