It`s most likely last season for Teemu in the NHL.
The cnaces ar that RPG line won`t exist anymore after this year.

I really think we should take him (Connolly) to make this season better.

Connolly is a proven player who can play big special team minutes. He`s much better than Bonino is at this point, at least. I`d give it a shot.

I would want Connolly too, but what do you do with Bonino? Holland should stay and be in the NHL. Maybe move Holland to wing and Bonino is his center on the 4th line? Can Conolly play wing?

What does Connolly bring that Koivu doesn't? He's worse at faceoffs, produces less and costs more.

And I don't really think he's 'much' better then Bonino at this point either, not 3.4m better anyway.

If there's no spot in the lineup for Cogs, there definitely isn't one for Connolly. Specially not at the expense of Bonino and possibly Holland's development.

Well, it only starts becoming something to think about if he clears waivers and gets bought out. If he then was willing to take a cheap deal, it could become an option. At that point we might even have seen how Bonino's doing in his spot.

Absolute no to Connolly.

That was great.

If you could guarantee that Connolly stays healthy then it would probably be worth the risk. Since that will never happen I would not pick him up.

Awkward moment when they've had 6+ months to prepare the microphone for the first game, and it's still not working

Is there an alternate channel on DirecTV for the Pens-Flyers game?

(Trying to not sound jealous.) Why am I forced to watch this? I want Flyers/Pens.

Also, I always hated the players carrying around the cup at these things. It's history. They've already started working to get it back. There's zero point to this forced repeat celebration, other than excite a few fans. There's hockey to be played, finally. That's exciting enough.

I don't remember the whole league going on pause so they could watch our banner ceremony in 2007.

That's what I thought, as well. I don't think that happened last year, either.

I'm happy I found a stream that's showing the "THE GAME WILL BEGIN SOON" screen from the NHL network.
