Hate that hockey started right on my work weekend >.< Didn't really get to watch other teams play except for a bit of the morning game today. Just excited to see the Ducks play again tomorrow.

A lil afraid to talk Rangers with my boss right now, might give it another week

Jim Vandermeer is on waivers from Vancouver...haven't seen too much of him lately, but is he an option as a 7th D-Man?

He's better than Hendry but if Geunin is able to play like he did last year, id rather bring him up.

Offensively yes, but defensively he has a long way to go. He plays in the NHL how he played in college where he was able to dominate because of his offensive instincts with his superior skating ability allowed him to get back. He might put up some Green type numbers in that offense, but to be a great defenseman he is going to have to rein in the chances he takes.

I don't see how Tarasenko doesn't get the Calder this year.

Don't forget that Huskins might also be an option for the number 7 spot.

Watching the Panthers vs Sens. I know it had to be done but gat dang it I miss seeing Parros' stache during Ducks games. It's as thick as ever.

Parros himself seems to be reinvigorated. Looks more aggressive in getting in the other teams face. Something he lacked the last couple years in Anaheim.

Not saying I would or not, but would any of you take Tarasenko over Fowler with that 12th pick back in 2010?

Fowler plays a more important position, and Tarasenko has only played 2 games so far, but Tarasenko is looking like he could be another Kovy/Ovy type of game changer.

I'll tell you after this year. I really think Fowler is going to turn into one of the most dynamic offensive defenseman in the league this year.

They made the right choice, but the way Tarasenko's playing it seems like he'd of been a nice pick too. However, it's still very early to asess him.

Cross check someone, he falls on the puck and gets a penalty for concealing the puck. Gotta love reffing at Preds games.

I wouldn't. They look like they're on the same tier, and we definitely needed a defenseman more. Maybe that will change by year's end.
