If I am going to attempt to rag on Zach (it is hard to rag on a multimillionaire athlete with a wife with a ***** made out of gold) I would start with how his father and wife make all his decisions for him or how he diddles dongs with his boyfriend Ryan Suter.
Or just keep it simple and call him a traitor, or Captain Second Place, or Silver Medal Zach.
Thanks for the additional ammo.
Though I can't imagine I'd use homosexuality as a pejorative. Matter of fact, I find a manslaughter joke significantly less offensive, personally.
I'll start a thread near 11/11 taking suggestions.
In the middle of the convo here but, what the hell are you talking about?
"On September 29, 2003, Dany Heatley was driving a Ferrari 360 Modena and Dan Snyder was in the passenger seat.[35] Heatley, who was driving between 55-82 MPH in a 35 MPH zone,[36] lost control and skidded into a brick pillar and iron fence.[35] Six days later, Snyder died from his injuries. Heatley was charged with vehicular homicide as a result of the crash. He pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide"
I believe that is where Adam Henrique and Adam Larsson Come in
Yes...if anyone on our current roster has a shot it's him...personally, I've only owned two numbered jerseys in my life...I got a #30 when I was 12. It lasted me a long time. Two years ago I decided it was time I got a new one and got a #9...Well now I think I'm getting a #14 to replace the #9.
And finally...one last thing...one of my favorite memories as a fan was going to the first game after the lockout...it was Crosby's first ever NHL game and Zach's too. Sid got an assist...but Zach stole the show leading us to a win with a 1G 1A performance...everyone at the Meadowlands was chanting "Parise's better." I'll never forget that. I wish I didn't have to be bitter about it...but at least he didn't end up playing WITH Sidney.
The quotes he released after the signing really, really irked me. Did he even say anything to Devils fans despite saying how playing us next year is going to be "unique".
The way he speaks now, it is like he left the Devils in his mind a month ago.
I totally understand this but at the same time I think things are getting a little overblown.. He wasnt plotting his escape, he was talking to a good friend...
I know, it still sucks balls but,
Im sure many of you play hockey. If you played well & had a lot of fun with a friend of yours & you still keep in contact you cant sit & say that it would never come up to say "man it would be so cool if we could be on a team together sometime" I really dont think they were plotting some coup...
But again, if this happened to us Id be saying the EXACT same thing so its totally justified. I just truly believe it was never his intention to screw over the Devils. but what do I know...
If Parise doesnt even crack 50 points next season he will be **** on. Dont try to argue differently.
fair enough. I honestly cant speak for the whole fanbase but I can tell you this, we have high hopes but low expectations...
As long as you don't do it in a mean way, if you start a thread on the Wild boards about it people will gladly tell you what they expect..
I think we're just too overjoyed to care right at this moment but again, Wild fans & Minnesota fans in general have very low expectations.. We've never seen a winner...
Our Owner Leipold was on local radio today, I cant guarantee it but he said that the league would work with us for a 2014 or 2015 winter classic if we got a marquee player or two & we showed we can be competitive.
Our owner seems very convinced we're getting it... again, just what I heard. It was news to me too..
Competitive means : "Get to the playoffs next season or you can forget it."
Not cause he left, cause he handled it like a little *****....be a man, state your intentions honestly and make your decision. This bashful, golly gee BS is what makes that liar and manipulator a bag of swimming wanna be babies.

Best suggestion for a sign thus far: "Zach, don't get in a car with Dany, Alisha's overbite needs you!"
When Heater came the Wild we were all making jokes about no one better take up his offer to carpool!
In Heater defense, many of us were not that happy when we traded for him because of all we had heard & his reputation. But for what its worth, he's been a great teammate & player / guy on the Wild. We have heard nothing but great things...

He said numerous times that we were his priority and that he wanted to come back.
Then he flat out admitted that he'd been talking to Suter all year about trying to find a place to play together.
I know players try to be political with the fans, but he took it too far with the things he was saying to his fans and teammates. He could have remained quiet, but he didn't.

Well, thanks again guys, I dont want to overstay my welcome but it's been great talking to you guys. Again, we got nothing but respect for your team & fans & feel free to drop by the Wild boards anytime to see our expectations for Parise because I cant speak for everyone.
I promise we'll treat you guys with the same respect you showed me.
