2013 NHL draft "consensus" top-30 (CS, FC, HP, ISS, McK)

The “consensus” top-30 has been combined from the following rankings:
  • CS = Central Scouting’s A list (36 players that are in first-round consideration)
  • FC = Future Considerations top-30
  • HP = Hockeyprospect’s top-30
  • ISS = International Scouting Services top-30
  • McK = McKeen’s Hockey top-30

Players were ranked based on the total points (= TP) that they accumulated. Some examples: Nathan MacKinnon was on Central Scouting’s A list and was ranked 1st by all scouting services. Therefore his total points were 10+30+30+30+30=130. Steve Santini wasn’t on Central Scouting’s A list, but was 15th on HP list and 20th on ISS list. Therefore his total points were 0+0+16+11+0=27.

Feel free to post your own ranking from your area/league of expertise. How would it differ from the above ranking? Who do you think are the biggest omissions from the list?

I guess that Marcus Högberg, Amil Krupic, Chris Bigras, Linus Arnesson, Jérémy Grégoire, Pavel Buchnevich, Jordan Maletta, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Tyler Hill, Zach Nastasiuk, Brody Silk and Alexander Henriksson are some of the potential top-60 names missing from the list, but there must be dozens of others as well.

Surprised MacKinnon is #1 on every list, figured Jones would be #1 at least once. Is Jones not supposed to be a better prospect than Murray/Larsson?

Great work, Tormenotr!

Though, since you have players who were A rated on CS list, does that mean that they already released the A/B/C rated players watchlist? I must have missed that somehow...

Every year there's at least one player with an amazing name.

Rasmus Ristolainen. That's just....incredible.

Good list, I would rank Amil Krupic much higher though. The upside is great in that one

I really liked what I saw from Elias Lindholm at the U18 this year. Pretty slick player.

Suprised Barkov was 7th and 8th on some lists. Thought he was considered top-5 by everyone.

I'm seriously so excited for this draft. Even if the Ducks don't pick high. So much talent to go around and the season hasn't even started yet. Who knows who's going to rise out of nowhere? We say it every year, but this draft could be the strongest we've seen in a while.

So many good centers in the draft. Calgary needs to get one of them badly.

He's 5'6" and maybe 150 pounds. It's been a while since I've seen him play but he really didn't strike me as the kind of gritty, energetic, heart-and-soul type that a guy like Rocco Grimaldi was/is. He's got awesome skill but he needs to take his game to another level to get a consideration for the top two rounds.
