Get him to ask the agent if the KHL is interested in him. Better yet if the Blue Jackets are interested. Then we'll see what ''I can't comment'' means.
I'm impressed though by this tone on the board here. When discussed if we lose Parise should we go after Semin it was ''No way don't want Semin under any circumstances'' by a good part of the board. I guess for a lot of people it was hard to ask that while we still had Parise or while we thought we had a good chance at keeping him. Even my talk last night of Brian Gionta, and trading for him didn't get me laughed off the board like I said it would be a decent trade if we lost Zach months ago. Even some of the posters here I agree with, and respect the most said it wouldn't be a bad stop gap, and Brian Gionta at $5 million isn't so bad when Parise is getting $7.5 for 13 years, and the cap is going up.
Tedenby will get a chance to do something if Lou doesn't have a trade for him up his sleeve. Can't expect him to replace half of what Parise produced. A 40 point season for Tedenby would be a very successful season for him in my opinion. It's not likely though, but that would be a BIG season for him. If he gets to 30 points that would be great to me. He needs more than a slight improvement from what we saw last year to get to that.
