Why would Pitt make a sizable financial committment to another offensive player when they have clear defensive issues??? I think there could be a dark horse team like St. Louis or Winnipeg willing to overpay, but I really believe the devils are the MAJOR player if they want to be.

I doubt Clarkson takes a paycut and I doubt Lou even lowballs him. Based on his last contract he's going to give Clarkson $5+ caphit. I'm horrified thinking about it.
