...for any combination of Gagner, Omark, or Hemsky.

Personally I'd like to package him for Gagner somehow but I don't know if other Devils fans would agree. I realize he's a center and as of right now we have Zajac, Henrique, Elias, Josefson, and Carter, but Elias is getting old (and he's a natural winger) and Zajac is a UFA next year. If he walks we're suddenly not looking so great at center. Plus it's easier to move a natural center to a wing while it's not as easy for a winger to mover to center. We just got lucky with Elias.

Doubt Volchenkov ever waives to go to Edmonton. Tallinder or Greene seem more likely to get traded. Would love Hemsky but Gagner seems way more likely. Can he play right wing.

Gagner isn't really that available as we have not a lot of options for a another top six centre to come in.

I think Jersey could be a good place for Omark packaged with Peckham maybe for Volchenkov?

EDIT: I forgot he has a NTC, Greene would be a good option too.

I think Oilers would even overpay for a dman at this point, I'm not good with player values so im not gonna throw anything out there but I wouldn't be upset of we added a hit extra to get a guy like volchenkov or tallinder. Also wondering from NJ fans what they think about those two and where they'd it in our lineup.

Why would a stanley cup finalist want 4th liners and minor leaguers from one of the worst teams in the league in exchange for one of their best defensive dmen?

How does this benefit *both* teams?

That's cool.

I think Omark and Tedenby have equal value and neither one has been very impressive for their current teams. Those two are basically a swap leaving Tallinder, Urbom and 3rd for Hemsky.
