Yeah, I'm more and more looking forward to go to the Dolphins/Cardinals game as a Dolphins fan.
No question you will want to watchout yourself at the football game. However, some will argue that someone getting shot at a Cardinals game will be rare based on this generalized notion that the Radiers Fans are a bunch of violent criminals.
I hope you are right. I'm still going to do my ritual of drinking and enjoying my sporting events. You didn't see me at my best at the Blues game, because I had to make sure I could drive back after. I'm getting a hotel and staying the night after the game, hopefully party up in Westgate after the game. I just want to enjoy that.

Sounds like you will have a blast. Too bad the guppies are gonna get worked, though.
Let me get this straight.....Cards are trying to figure out who should start at QB, and they think they're going to figure it out based on both QB's throwing a combined total of 9 passes?

They know it's going to be Skelton, they just don't want to say it yet.
Sadly the problems with Cardinals now have more to do with how Larry Fitzgerald has management by the balls in all of this. Fits wasn't happy with not getting a ring let alone see the team not able to re-sign a player(Warner) that is the main reason wh the Cardinals ever had a shot at the Superbowl. Fits was only going to re-sign with the Cardinals on the condition that he decides who management should go after and its not just with Kolb. Considering the major help we needed at the O-Line, the Cardinals could have went after David DeCastro(who was drafted by the Steelers later in the 1st round)but instead drafted another WR that we really didn't need.
I'm more concerned about building a winning team instead of making one superstar player happy at the expense of the teams future. LeBron James pulled the same **** when he was in Cleveland and look at where he is now as a result of managment trying too hard to keep there talented superstar happy.
The team needed a #2 WR pretty badly, just not as much as it needed to improve the OL. Underscored even more now by Levi Brown's likely season ending injury.
Dbacks trade Drew to the A's. It was only a matter of time. He just wasn't producing after coming back from injury. It's too bad too, he has such a great baseball swing, and very knowledgeable about the game. Wish him the best. More importantly, we relieve some of the money. Kid was making 7.5 mil this year, and the option for next year was $10 million. No way we were going to pay that anyways.
Didn't read the article, but where was he drinking and why was he driving afterwards? Dude made millions playing baseball, and probably makes good money as a broadcaster. If he was out at a bar somewhere enjoying some drinks, no reason not to get a cab. Unbelievable. I'm just glad himself or nobody else got hurt.
I love Mark Grace, but that entire incident just SCREAMS entitled old man.
Expired tags on a fancy new car? Driving on a suspended license from a DUI? Not having the required interlock device? Having some drinks before driving despite ALL of that?
This is clearly a man who does not feel that rules should apply to him, nor does he seem to believe that he should have to deal with any consequences.

I was the same way once...when I was a TEENAGER!
If he was joe citizen, based in all the things you said he did, he would have a few felonies to deal with. Lots of jail time. However, he will get "celebrity" treatment and see maybe none.

That's the worst part. Just because you have money should not mean you are immune to the laws at hand. That's the only way these guys will learn. The costs of the DUI are nothing to them, but the jail time is something you shouldn't be able to pay off.
Looks like the Dbacks are close to trading Saunders. Just about anything they can get for him would be a good deal. Not that he's been bad but it's time to move on. He's a pending FA anyway.
Also another note, Chris Johnson has utterly disappeared. In august he's hitting .219 with a .645 OPS

I don't think he's going to get away with anything. Barkley served 3 days in jail for DUI/Running a red light a few years back. The minimum is 1 day.
