Morin can hear your posts about his skating and they're just pissing him off.

may be true, but what I've seen from the A this and last year was really not better than what I see in europe.

BTW, camera and camera work in really bad. Needed to say this. Don't like AHL Live

thought about this Skating is still not good

Leddy looked like a legit PP QB, Krüger carried the puck well and had a positiv game. Smith with some great energy and hustles. Morins snipeshow was really great. When he is in position and has some room, he will make some good things. Pirri has some nice vision but is not a short term solution to our #2 C problem. On the other side, it's good to have him for depth. If not, he or Krüger or Morin should have some trade value to teams in need of young NHL ready talent.
Olsen looks like he needs more time and needs to concentrate on his strengths and play up to these. Stanton with a good game - again.

Good to see Morin back sniping however...

Im thinking Brian Bochenski and Bochenski was a far better skater.

Just saw the highlights of the game. Glad to see Kruger and Morin had strong games. I can't really put too much blame on Hutton though, seeing the goals that were scored. Rockford looked like a mess in their end on the goals. Lebda coughs the puck up coming from behind the Rockford net, leads to a breakaway goal. Youds throws the puck away from behind the net, shot on net gets deflected off Olsen's skate and in.. that's the difference right there.

Didn't take long to learn not to trust the AHL.com's boxscores/stat keeping. Kruger's listed as only having a goal from the game today, despite also having an assist.

EDIT: Lavin was given the secondary assist on Morin's first goal.. I don't even know if he was on the ice.. lol.

The first goal, from Ebbett, hit him right in the shoulder. Doesn't look like it on the highlights from theahl.com, but from my view in the seats it was clear there was no reason for him to not make the stop.

2nd was a bad turnover, sure, but those are the kind of plays that often separate good goalies from bad ones. Gotta bail your D out some of the time...

3rd goal came off Olsen's skate. It's a fluky play, but again, he should've stopped it.

4th and 5th goals were both tough.

In the end, it's a .736 SV% for the night, and that is just beyond horrific. The Hogs dominated much of the game, but it came down to Lack outplaying Hutton.

Proposal - how about a GDT for Hogs games. This thread looks like it may become massively cluttered with game day comments.

Maybe not a bad idea, at least until the lockout is resolved. If it's ever resolved this season.

Interesting find from Chris Block when asking why Leddy and Stanton were both playing sides they weren't used to (Leddy on the left and Stanton on the right)

Coach Dent says some of the lines and pairings came down from on high by Blackhawks management.

Anyone is free to make one. Though keep in mind - these 2 games this weekend were on TV because they played the Wolves. Most of the games won't be seen by a lot of people here.

Dillon Fournier had 1g 1a today
Danault had nothing and was -1
Whitney let in 2 goals on 3 shots and looks like he was pulled 5mins into the game, Victoriaville ended up winning 5-3.

Leddy prefers the left side. I remember that from when he first made the team in 2010-11. The problem was and has continued to be, since he's joined the NHL, more established Dmen on the Hawks roster (Keith, Hammer, Oduya) who Leddy's been paired with all prefer the left side aswell, and therefore Leddy's been forced to play his off-side.

So Lalonde,Dahlbeck and Clendening all did not play in the first 2 games? ARE THEY HURT? ARE Tthey ticketed for the ECHL? If not hurt or demoted--then riding the pines at the expense of Lebda playing (and of career likely only AHL level Youds ) seems to me like a stupid development decision---or put this way: if they have surplus D-men --shouldn't at least there be a reasonable rotation? So are they hurt ot not,and if not why did they not play at lwast one of the first 2 games? Can anyone explain?

This must be the shortest post that hawksfan50 has ever written. And why aren't all the names written in caps? Is he fading on us?

Dahlbeck and Clendening are both hurt.

No idea about Lalonde.

Lalonde has been a bust for a while now

Add him to the failed Tallon prospect list (Probably soon to be joined by Beach)

Ironically the Wolves scored one of their goals yesterday off a bad Lebda turnover.

Hard to expect Beach to show a lot when he's on the 4th line playing with Rob Flick and Brandon Bollig

Morin - Pirri - Shaw
Saad - Kruger - Hayes
Beach - St.Pierre - Smith
Bollig - LeBlanc - Flick

Those should be the lines, IMO.
