Yes, Dubinsky could bounce back to a 25+25 player. Just like Nash could become a 40+40 player. But at the moment, neither of them are. Neither has the value that they could.
Either treat both at the value they're currently at or treat both with the potential of what they could be. Choosing to view one player one way and the other player the other is just showing your bias.

Both Stepan and Kreider will be greater than Gretzky. Just you wait and see.
Not one person has said that, but at 22, stepan put up 51 points on a defensive minded team first. Kreider has the potential to score 30 with his skillset. That's 2 players on ELC contracts with the potential to put up 60+ points each or more..
