Hockey or No Hockey, the 5th Annual Hockey Fights Cancer “Giving From The Heart” Benefit hosted by the Predators Pride Booster Club will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Two Doors Down Sports Bar & Grille, 1524 Demonbreun, Nashville, TN 37203. Food and entertainment will be provided.
Information will be available from the American Cancer Society, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, Baptist Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital. This year additional donations will be collected for the Dystonia Research Foundation in honor of former Nashville Predator Rem Murray and the Lance Armstrong Foundation in honor of their commitment to fighting cancer.
To date special guests scheduled are Gnash, current Nashville Predator Jim McKenzie, former Nashville Predator Jay More, Huntsville Havoc players and Staff (Goalie Matt Carmichael and Defenseman Jason deGuehery) and Knoxville Ice Bears Coach Jim Bermingham and staff.
The Silent Auction will run from 6:30-8:30 pm. Some of our silent auction sponsors include: Adventure Science Center, Midwest Airlines, Nash Trash Tours, Nashville Sounds Baseball Club, and the Nashville Symphony Association.
