I think a team's logo should be the theme for a jersey, but not the main attraction. I like that we don't use it. It is a great logo, though.

I'd agree with this. One of the things I like about our Green Alternate is the fact that we don't have the main logo on the front. I think it's a decent logo, but having the script on the front instead of our logo makes it seem less "cookie-cutter" of a jersey design.

As I've said for awhile, I would love to have our Green Alternate become our Home jerseys and replace our White Aways with an inverted White version of the Green Alternate (like the Aeros 3rd). The current Home could then be used as an Alternate.

replace the away's hopefully this year, and then when awarded a winter classic, we can replace the red's. Fletch always has a plan even when it comes to changing jersey's =D

Not too bad. Looks a little western-y for me though. Maybe if our name was the Wranglers...

I think it'd look better if the red accents were still wheat.

Here ya go...

I added a second stroke to the logo "W" because it looked too thin without a border and since there was only 2 colors to work with I had to add a second outline to tie it together then I changed the collar tab to green as well because the red tab looked out of place...

Out of everything posted so far, I think I like these the most:

I could also see the one on the left in this one being used in a Winter Classic:

Still would prefer to just keep the current green as home, and re-do the aways.

I don't think a big "W" would fly in this state given the neighbors to the East.

That W one actually looks pretty awesome.

Those plus the green and red ones in the second picture would be a nice combination.

I dont use a website. I just did google image searches for "Wild Jersey" and then found a picture of a jersey that I can work with & then I just open it photoshop. .

Then in photoshop I'd erase the existing logo on them to make them blanks and then just add in whatever logo I wanted..

For example, on the North Star logo style jersey's I did an image search for North Stars logo & then just chopped it apart and put it back together to look like a "W"

and then for the more recent "M" & "W" jersey's I just searched for "Minnesota Wild Script" and found a picture that I could chop apart & steal the "M" from "Minnesota" and just chopped it down to just the "M" played with the colors, the "edit layers" features and then just flipped it 180 degrees to make it a "W". Re-sized it until it looked good, flattened it and posted here...

Sounds more complicated then it is.. You could probably even do it MS Paint if you wanted to... It may not look quite as clean but its just a bunch of copying, pasting & erasing..

Also there's GIMP and Paint.Net that are free alternatives to Photoshop.

I made these in Paint.Net:

These were actually before the new jerseys were unveiled:

And of course:

I don't like any concept that changes the colors inside of the Wild's logo. That just isn't based in reality. Attempting to modify it to fit a sweater design just isn't the way to go in my opinion.

It's like the NFL jerseys fans can buy which feature alternate colors yet are never worn on the field (i.e. Vikings gold ones).

not to completely rehash a somewhat old thread, but i've had Wild fever lately and threw these jersey designs together. Nothing entirely new as similar ones have been seen on the web. Curious on Wild fans' thoughts since i was surprised to see how some feel about the current uniforms.

This one is based off of their current thirds, with the main logo and red included.

This one based off of their old (and current road) sock striping
