New Team Lines

EDIT -- I'll update every team if someone sees something wrong with the roster or they sign/trade someone.
EDIT2 -- Still need Jackets / Preds / Penguins / Panthers / Bolts

Was looking and couldn't find if anyone made a thread posting new lines for teams after the bulk of free agency is over. Obviously Doan / Semin / Luongo / Nash could all be moved in the future, but as of now lets see those new lines!

:

Brown ($3.175 million) - Kopitar ($6.8) - Williams ($3.65)
Penner ($3.25)- Richards ($5.75)- Carter ($5.273)
Gagne ($3.5) - Stoll ($3.25) - Lewis ($0.725)
King ($0.725) - Fraser ($0.825) - Nolan ($0.532)
Richardson ($1.175) - Westgarth ($0.725)

Doughty ($7.0) - Scuderi ($3.4)
Mitchell ($3.5) - Voynov ($0.817)
Greene ($2.95) - Martinez ($0.738)
Drewiske ($0.617)

Quick ($1.8)
Bernier ($1.25)

TOTAL: $61.43 million

Lines remain exactly the same minus what line Gagne plays on to start the season.

Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta

Here's the Wild's lineup...

Zach Parise - Mikko Koivu - Pierre-Marc Bouchard
Devin Setoguchi - Mikael Granlund- Dany Heatley
Matt Cullen - Kyle Brodziak - Cal Clutterbuck
Torrey Mitchell - Zenon Konopka - Darroll Powe
Matt Kassian

Ryan Suter - Tom Gilbert
Marco Scandella - Jared Spurgeon
Clayton Stoner - Justin Falk
Prosser
Kampfer
(Jonas Brodin has a chance of making the team in the top 4 though, which would push Falk to 7 and Prosser and Kampfer could very well be in the AHL)

Niklas Backstrom
Josh Harding

Latendresse-Spezza-Michalek
Silfverberg-Turris-Alfredsson
Greening-Regin-Condra
Smith-O'Brien-Neil
Daugavins, Butler

Cowen-Karlsson
Methot-Gonchar
Phillips-Lundin
Borowiecki

Anderson
Bishop

that's a best guess. Bolded is all i can guarantee. Zibanejad and Stone will push to make the team as well, but we have too many bodies up front then. Silfverberg could fail to make the team and start in the AHL. Alfredsson could retire. Daugavins/O'brien could be let go or traded (RFAs). On the back end, the question is who plays with karlsson. Cowen may not be ready, but methot might not be good enough, and phillips didnt work so well with him in limited attempts before. Lehner could steal the backup job from bishop, meaning we'd have to then move bishop.

Really hoping Lats can stay healthy for the Sens and prove the naysayers wrong. Such a great guy, I hope he does well.

Vancouver Canucks

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Burrows
Booth - Kesler* - Raymond*
Higgins - Schroeder* - Hansen
Malholtra - Lapierre - Kassian (Weise/Volpatti/Pinizzotto)

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Garrison
Ballard - Tanev

Luongo*
Schneider

Subject to change*

Kesler is out 6 months giving Schroeder an opportunity fir the 2C spot.

2C, 3C, 2RW are the big holes. Defence is set. If Luongo gets moved, Schneider will start with Lack being the mostly like back up.

Caron**-Kelly-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Boychuk
Seidenberg-Hamilton***
Ference-McQuaid

Rask
Khudobin

* expected to start the season

** faces main competition from Spooner and Knight

*** general consensus is that he'll make the team; I expect him to start off with a player like Seidenberg but a lot of people put him in the bottom pair with Ference leaping up into the top 4. Main competition would be from Krug or an unsigned depth UFA d-man.

This is premature, as it is known that the Canes aren't finished with summertime transactions. We're still $5m short of the salary floor.

Tlusty - J. Staal - E. Staal
Skinner - Jokinen - Ruutu
Nodl - Welsh? - LaRose
Bowman - Brent - Dwyer
Stewart

Pitkanen - Faulk
Gleason - Corvo
Harrison - McBain
Murphy

Ward
Peters

3C is an area of uncertainty at the moment.

I think it'll look more like this:

Leino - Hodgson - Pominville
Foligno - Ennis - Stafford
Vanek - X - Ott
Gerbe - X - Kaleta
X Ellis, Scott

Sekera - Myers
Regehr - Leopold
Ehrhoff - Sulzer
X Weber, Pardy

Miller
Enroth

McNabb and Tropp both start in the AHL. 3rd and 4th line center spots are filled by either Grigorenko or a trade/UFA.

i'm gonna go ahead and say one of tallinder or greene is traded for a prospect or something, sykora is re-signed, and hope to god we sign semin.

kovalchuk-zajac-semin
elias-henrique-sykora
zubrus-josefson-clarkson
carter-gionta-bernier
barch, janssen

salvador-zidlicky
greene/tally-fayne
volchenkov-larsson
harrold

marty
moose

without any additions

kovalchuk-zajac-clarkson
elias-henrique-zubrus
tedenby-josefson-bernier
carter-gionta-barch

salvador-zidlicky
greene-tallinder
volchenkov-fayne
harrold-larsson

both zubrus and clarkson in the top 6 is awful, and that bottom 6 would be useless. some combination of free agent signings and one of the d-men getting traded has to bring a top 6 winger to this team or else it's toast.

Many of their wingers are interchangeable, and guys on various lines will end up with considerably more or less ice time, but an approximation:

Perron-Backes-Oshie
Schwartz-Berglund-Stewart
McDonald-Steen-Tarasenko
Sobotka-Nichol-D'Agostini
Reaves, Crombeen, maybe Langenbrunner if they re-up him

It's possible Schwartz begins the year in Peoria, but it's clear that team management thinks he's NHL-ready, and he showed it in his handful of games.

Cole-Pietrangelo
Jackman-Shattenkirk
Russell-Polak
Woywitka, Fairchild, Chorney

I really hope Cole has a big off-season and has a true breakout year. He's capable and has shown flashes, so a consistent spot might allow him to flourish. If not, we'll probably see a Pietrangelo-Shattenkirk or Russell-Pietrangelo pairing for a good part of the year, leading to an eventual trade.

Elliott

Winnipeg Jets 12/13:

Current roster:

Evander Kane - Olli Jokinen - Wheeler
Ladd - Burmistrov - Little
Ponikarovsky - Antropov - Machacek
Cormier - Slater - Thorburn
Miettinen

Enström - Byfuglien
Hainsey - Bogosian
Marc Stuart - Clitsome/Postma/Kulda

Pavelec
Montoya

What it will MOST likely be heading to pre-season:

We add a 2nd line RW out of the players still on the market. If I had to put money on it, I'd easily say we re-sign Kyle Wellwood

Evander Kane - Olli Jokinen - Wheeler
Ladd - Little - Kyle Wellwood
Ponikarovsky - Antropov - Burmistrov
Machacek - Slater - Thorburn
Miettinen

Enström - Byfuglien
Hainsey - Bogosian
Marc Stuart - Clitsome
Kulda/Postma

Pavelec
Montoya

You really became a good, deep team over the last couple of years. My respect.
