In hindsight, I'm not really sure why we moved the perennial 40 goal sniper to RW as opposed to the perennial 30 goal crease humper.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease. I'm sure Parise was the one who complained about it more.

Anything juicy and new going on? Is Semin a Devil yet lol? Seems there was some speculating on what we should trade for so I assume it has all been Status Quo, no good rumors?

Sign Mueller already damn it!!! He'd help our RW problems tremendously!

With Semin and Mueller

Kovy - Zajac - Elias
Semin - Henrique - Mueller

Profit!

Been reading the Caps board and a lot of them say he often looked disinterested, even in this past years playoffs. If it were about the money he'd be in the KHL already. What's his deal?

That looks very good

I think Zubie-Yayo-Clarkie would be a nice 3rd line

He's never been past the second round? Tired of playing in Washington? lol

I think Pete would move him to RW over anyone else. He moved Sykora who was a natural RW in favor or Zubrus. No chance Henrique gets moved and Zajac and Kovy have chemistry.

He is their scape goat. No matter what he is blamed . I thought he played pretty well in the playoffs

Tired of getting 3rd line minutes when your team is struggling to score . Didnt like Dale Hunter at all.

No way Mueller slots in the top 6. He'd be lucky to even crack the lineup as the 13th IMO. He just can't stay healthy.

I think as cliche as it sounds, he is "enigmatic." some nights he is absolutely on fire, while others he takes bad minors and looks completely out of it. I do not think Lou will sign him, I think we will likely go into the season with what we have or sign Wellwood/Mueller/trade Tallinder for top 9 player.

Mueller has the talent of a top 6 player, if he can stay healthy he can play top 6 minutes

Agree 100%. Problem for him is staying healthy. He has the ability to put up 30-30 numbers. Very similar to Ales Hemsky, but a better goal scorer/Worse playmaker

All this would just get better if we could somehow trade Larsson, and sign Suter, and Garisson.

In all seriousness even if we don't end up with Semin hopefully we were really in the running. Being in the running, and at least talking with his people tells me Lou definitely won't let the spot at forward go unfilled, and he has something up his sleeve by way of trade if not signing.

He shouldn't even command that big a contract because of his injuries so I wouldn't care lol

I spotted him last week actually. I think under the name friendofjackedforlife look it up. He claimed he was ''Jacked's agent'' Also I have spotted another poster around here that hasn't been since before UFA who went under the name builtlikeatank who said the same such things about Suter, and Garisson.
