didn't you hear... the real reason the Habs signed Prust was to land Perry next summer...
they are BFF after their "bash brothers" time together in London, Perry wanted to come back North next year, hates the leafs so had Prust decide btw Ottawa/Montreal. Prust picked montreal and the rest will be history

O think Burke will heavily pursue these guys however. He likes the guys he had in ANA; see beauch, lupul, gardnier(to an extent he drafted him), Gigueure etc.

Are you talking about where he traded his 3rd best center that just turned down a 10 year contract offer? Because that situation has zero in common with Perry and Getzlaf other then the time until UFA.
Getzlaf and Perry are on totally different level, have never turned down an offer or expressed the desire to leave, and are the anchor of our team not a 3rd liner.
