I like Pang I know he can be a little to much for some people but I'm glad he's back. Also, I'd really like for Kerber to be the TV guy at some point he's really good on KMOX.

I like the sound of that.

Still miss Ken Wilson

Blues hockey just wouldn't feel the same without a few "holy jumpin's" a game.

Took me three times to login, maybe a sign I'm a little too drunk to post.

IMO Kerber is too good at play by play for TV. His talents would be wasted. I'm not trying to saying he is the best play by play guy out there, but Kerbs is darn good imo.

I'm happy to hear this. I can understand how Pangerisms might grate on some, but he brings quite a bit to the table. He's entertaining, funny, and pretty fair in his perspectives. His insider knowledge (especially with regards to technical goaltender play) and personal anecdotes are excellent, IMO.

Panger on his worst day trumps Al Hrabosky on his best day.

I love having Panger. Glad they could get a deal done. He's incredibly funny, while still being incredibly knowledgeable about the game and the players.

When Panger went on the air with his Don Cherry parody, right after Cherry said some ridiculous statements....he permanently endeared himself to me. Panger has a great sense of humor, great hockey insight, and works hard to cultivate relationships with lots of people around the league. He always brings worthwhile explanations and added information. But I like him best for his Don Cherry teeth.

Panger is a Hoot I'm glad he's back. You do know the Panger was the Goalie who gave up 4 goals to Tony Hrkac Circus in a 1988 Playoff game vs. the Hawks? I am hoping on the Radio Side that Chaser returns as well.

Agreed. I use XM radio to listen to Blues games at work and Chaser and Kerbs are one of the best tandems out there.

Also glad Panger is back. Now if we could only get a decent PBP guy.

It says in the article that Pang, Chase, and Federko all agreed to new contracts. Kerber and Kelly are still under their previous contracts.

After having him in St. Louis I feel he has made the broadcast a lot more interesting and has done a really good job of integrating in his short time, it would have been bad to lose him. John Kelly always comes across as uptight and nervous, Panger loosens him up. Even the best teams aren't fun to watch if their announcers are lame. At one point I was worried the Blues were gonna have Pat Parris calling games to save a buck.

The worst thing the Blues could do is force us to stare at Brian Engblom's hair.
