No I didn't. Maybe you should try actually reading my comments. The circumstances surrounding that trade were entirely different. Thanks for playing, though.

Nope. Would still rather have our quarter than NYR's 2 dimes and a nickle.
It's like you want to be in the basement next year. Already on the "no winnin' for MacKinnon" train?

Do you have someone that can play 4th line center that you're looking to deal? Maybe a borderline NHL'er that could win some face offs, kill penalties and give some offensive punch?

Too much. Boyle is a big part of the team's successful defensive play. We need another big sized defensive center to replace him. Value is spot on, but team gets a lot weaker in bottom 6.

As a neutral, this seems pretty damn fair.

As a neutral fan i think Dubinsky has quite a bit more value than Stafford.

Boyle is a dime a dozen player.

Posters thought we couldn't replace Betts, we did.

We can easily replace Boyle as well.

Disagree, I think Boyle is a unique talent with his size. He also has a good shot. He is in no way comparable to Betts since he logs a lot of minutes for this team and does a fine job in a defensive role.

Both players are of equal value so yeah I think it's a fair deal.

They both were around 1 min PK. playing equal time Stafford would give up 1 less goal in a season. Dubinsky was involved in 2 more SHG.

Stafford faced lower 3rd comp. in a 55% zone start. Since the lockout a player in that situation averaged 41EV points for 14min. He had 42. Hence Average.

Dubinsky Faced lower second comp in a 42% zone start. Since the lockout a player in this far more difficult situation averaged 23EV points for 13min. Dubinsky had 28Ev points. much better than average.

Last year Dubinsky was far better in tougher EV situations. Versus historical performance.

B. Boyle played upper 2nd Comp in a less than 30% zone start situation these players end up being -15 to -19 on average. he was a plus player.

Since 07-08 the forwards who have faced upper 2nd comp or better with a less than 35% zone start and were not negative. (outperformed there apponent)
these guys should be -15 or worse.
11-12 Boyle
10-11 Torres, Burrish, Bolland
09-10 none
08-09 Brodziak
07-08 M. Richards

You would be incorrect sir!

Well you summed up my thoughts nicely.lol. Also Dubinsky is more versatile being able to play center, and in my viewings more physical.

Noooooo

Yea he's streaky, but Staff is bona fide top six, and the chemistry he has shown w/ Ennis and Foligno is no fluke. They stay healthy, those three are gonna do some damage together. If I were Darcy, I'm ending any conversation that includes any of those three names.

Are the Rangers still interested in another Top 4 Defenseman after losing out on Schultz? Any interest in a good 3-4, all situations d-man like Jordan Leopold. Sabres have a surplus of D and desperatley need a Dubinsky type in te middle..

Leopold, Adam for Dubinsky? Top 4 D and a young, good sized Top 6 LW'r with 50ish point upside...

What does Buffalo need to add/ what do the Rangers need?
