The two teams aren't good trading partners period. The only realistic player Burke would target is Stewart but we already have plenty of wing depth just like the Blues. Stewart for a dman but then again, can Toronto deal two starting dman in one off-season? that would seem pretty dumb and for a winger, lateral at best.

Anyway trade is already favoring the leafs without the pick. The only think here useful is Gunnarson because hes a lefty but this trade is an absolute no-go

I personally do not like Stewart at all. I think Gunnarsson and Kulemin are too much for Stewart and an unproven prospect. Halak is ok.

And kulemin has "proven" he's also capable of putting up 7 goals. I don't think he's normally a 30 goal scorer. So his goal totals are going to fall somewhere in the middle. He's a good player to have. You can't have any clue whether rattie will score 30 in this league because he hasn't played a game yet. Let the kid have a chance to play before you trash him.Also, Rattie hasn't played a single NHL game. For all we know he could flame out, or he could score 50. The kid has some pretty serious skill and he's going to get the chance in 2013to prove it. Halak also happens to be out number one. He's not getting traded, except for ludicrous overpayment

He didn't play above and beyond, which was needed. The team takes a lot of that blame, bit don't for one second think if Halak was available, that he wouldn't have been in.
