No, they almost certainly are not. However, worst case, they will clearly be 'managed' by Robinson next year, and that's a good thing.

My bet is Woodcroft is back in the locker room though, there is literally not room on our bench for 4 coaches lol.

Haha, that would be awesome.

He can sit in the stands behind the bench and they will drill a little hole so he can yell through. Or hey, walkie talkies (that everyone will just turn off).

Re: goalie coach...

Scwhab is usually with SJ or Worcester (or some time with prospects in juniors/college). Sharks rely on him or Asst GM Thomas to work with goalies.

I did not know that. Yea, it would be a great idea to get another goalie coach for just Worcester but I don't know if that's what most orgs usually do.

AFAIK, no AHL team has full time goalie coach.

Schwab is located a lot closer to Worcester, than SJ.

I can see the possibility of hiring someone more local (to SJ) for full (or near full) time working with goalies (IOW, traveling with NHL team, etc.).

Apparently we have Couturier on our team. Hopefully he's referring to Sean.

Most orgs have only one goalie coach or consultant for all levels. The consultants are generally guys who run goalie schools and don't want to be in an exclusive arrangement (eg Allaire). Some orgs have gone without a goalie coach. It is generally one of the lowest paying jobs for suits on a team.

I don't think McLellan has the balls to "demote" one of his own. They ran with 4 on the bench the last year Yawney was here.

I would pay to see a scrap between Robinson and Ratto. Robinson at his age would still wipe the floor with Ray.
