Looks like a big improvement on the 99s. In particular, for Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Addison - he is everything you want in a defender, very smart, excellent vision, two way ability, pin point passer from either his own zone with a good outlet pass or on the rush, kick starts the offense but picks his time well, has a good shot from the point, skates very well. He is a great overall talent.

Barzan - Super smart, great size at almost 6'00 now, uses his size well, skates extremley well, great hands, amazing goal scorer with great shooting ability, plays hard at both ends of the ice...he thrives as the game gets bigger, he is a great leader, does it all on the ice...to me I think he will top out as a bigger Jonathan Toews.

Miller - Great skater, good passer, good shooter, smart player, sometimes reacts without thinking at the moment but he is so young that should not be a problem because he is smarter imo without the puck then with it because with it he wants to do too much but without it he moves well, knows where to be, even with it you can tell he has great sense but just tries to explode too much at times, but he has great passing and playmaking, great following up rebounds, he works his butt off every shift, always fighting hard, always hustling back in the defensive end, never stops moving, has tons of energy, very gifted offensive player though.

Veleno is ahead of them, he is the best 2000 right now around....things might change come a few years but as of right now IMO no one compares.

I'm proud (not) to say that at 19 years of age (born late '94), I'd be one of the bigger kids there. I'm 6'0 155 lbs FWIW.

I go to Luka Burzan's school and we're teammates on the school team... Helluva good player... Great offensive skills and also pretty good in his own end... I would compare him to Ryan Kesler or Johnathan Toews. Definately has a future in hockey

You gotta throw on Ryan Chyzowski on that list. Was really impressive this past season as a first year. Son of former 2nd overall NHL pick Dave Chyzowski(Mats Sundin went 1st that year).. has an unreal shot like his dad

Funny that this thread popped up, I'm watching a 00's Spring Tourney right now with lots of these kids playing. Good news: Ty Smith and Noah Westgate have grown
