xXx... yeah, that falls into my "crappy" pile, though compared to some of the other stuff on Vin's resume, it's certainly in the upper echelon of his work.

Just my opinion, though.
This is how I feel about the film as well. I personally can't stand Vin Diesel in general but different strokes for different folks.

Someone called you "boy" ? Was it a discriminatory type of "boy" or a "I'm the manager I own you" boy? What did you drop?

Wow that is downright ridiculous. I can't believe he was serious. Really sad some people in this decade still haven't gotten with the programme.

That isn't even a hyperbole. There is nothing more delicious and satisfying to one's stomach and taste buds than Lone Star fajitas.

I just looked now to see the closest Lone Star to Sudbury... you don't even want to know.

EDIT: Ask your parents about the Sudbury Wolves season tickets thing.

You mean THIS "The Patriot"? :

... the one where Mel Gibson literally fights off a guy with the American flag? And then he single-handedly ends a battle by waiving said American flag? That movie was so crazy-over-the-top that I couldn't take it seriously.

That movie DID, however, accurately portray battle formations that would have been used in it's day, so there's that. It's a VERY historically accurate movie in that regard (paid attention to battle formations, uniforms, scenery... the look of the movie is very real), if you can forgive all of the crazy "Mel Gibson" B.S. going on in that film, and the massive re-write of a major part of US history.

... or did you mean this "The Patriot"? :

As has been stated before, I don't look into movies a ton. I enjoyed the movie and I like history, hence for me it was a great movie.

OK, that's cool, but if you like history (like I do), just know that outside of the scenery/props/tactics, most of what happened in that movie is taking "creative license" of historical facts at it's best, and complete historical fiction at it's worst.

Just an FYI.

I realize that, even though I'm not huge on American history. I just meant that I found the plot in general to be attractive and entertaining. I don't look for much in movies.
