MTL - PHO (minor deal)

The Habs have an abundance of RW prospects and defense prospects.
They desperately need help in the LW department.

I still believe adding a Center or 2 wouldn't be a bad idea.

I propose, and be gentle this is my first proposal here:

To Habs:
Brendan Shimminin C
Lucas Lessio LW

To Phoenix:
Aaron Palushaj RW
Alexander Avtsin RW

Nothing huge here but a trade that I believe can help both farm clubs.
And Palushaj has played games in the NHL level so he can help the Yotes immediately if needed.

I'd like feedback from all fanbases but specifically the Habs and Yotes fans.

Cheers!

I'd like to see what Shinnimin has to offer first. He tore it up (albeit overage year) in the WHL, with unreal numbers, lets see what the kid can do first.

I don't know the Phoenix prospects, but Palushaj has no value. It's not negative, but it's not positive.

Avtsin has everything to be an NHLer, but just needs to put it together.

Both Phoenix prospects are very new to the system. I don't see the Coyotes moving them right back out.

That's cool.

I just like Lessio's size and the fact he's a LW we sorely need.

As for Shinnimin, he is intreguing.

I understand the reluctancy what with the year he just had which is why I offered Palushaj who'se already played in the NHL and Avtsin has alot of talent, good hands... lika another poster has mentionned, he can be very good if he gets it together.

Our new development of personel here in Montreal should help with that hopefully!

I'd pass on that one from the MTL POV just because Palushaj is the only one who has really reached the level of "almost NHLer" at least. He has basically done his tour in the minors, and while it remains to be seen if he can take further steps and become a useful NHLer or not, at least he got that close. I don't think any of the other guys are slam dunks to make it that far. Any of them might, but the odds tend to be against it for most generic prospects.
