It's a supposed to be a wooden shoe, Holzschuh, from the family crest of an influential patrician family..... Looks horrible

FC Bayern 0-0 after 30 minutes against Jahn Regensburg with a very strong side out there. Dominating the game, but look completely clueless about how to break their fellow Bavarians down. Neuer has had more to do than his opposite number.

... and within 30 second of my post Bayern go 1-0 up.

Ha, **** you Hertha, Union gets through to round two after not creating any chances until the second half of extra time.

Bayern really should be looking to win by a few more than 1 with the squad they have out.

Decent 4-0 result in the end. They still didn't really create much, but they took most of the chances that came along. They'll need to play better against Greuther Fürth this weekend.

Vsk keeping the thread alive

Very happy for Düsseldorf Hamburg really looked like a relegation candidate.

Looking forward to Wolfsburg-Stuttgart tonight should Be One of Three very interesting matches on week one (the others being Dortmund-Bremen and Hannover-Schalke).

Don't think you'd get heat from anyone apart from Gomez fanboys.

Gomez is one of the most overrated German players in quite some time IMO.
