No way I want Louie with that C. I don't want a "Sedin" like captain that'll take punches to the face and not do anything about it. Louie is a great assistant leading with his on ice play.
Benn as captain is really the only thing that makes sense. He's the one who will have to carry this team on his shoulders for a long time, and he'll have to lead this group of prospects coming in. It's already going to be a completely different type of season, might as well get him started.

I voted Benn but I do wanna see another(at least) season of healthy Morrow.. It really would be a shame if the 11/12 season ends up being his last in Dallas.
Who do I think will be captain? Well with the options I assume Morrow will stay captain unless traded(which I don't think will happen til the deadline, if ever). If he leaves unfortunately it will be Robidas. After that probably Daley, then Benn and Eriksson.
Now, who do I want to be captain? I'd say Daley fits the bill best, then soon after Benn.
Poll question needs to be specified. Seems people are voting who they want to be captain, as opposed to the OP asking who they think will be captain. Or are we all in agreement it would be Robidas given the C with Morrow gone? (reason I haven't voted)

There's no doubt Benn is the future captain of this team but I don't think the organization will put the added pressure on him just yet. I agree they would probably choose Robidas I think Loui would make a fine captain but don't see him getting it realistically. Daley interests me as captain. He's the longest tenured player on the team besides Morrow and he's shown willingness to stick up for teammates in the past. He's also a bit of a pimp. So my choices would be: Benn, Loui, Dales.
Make Daley captain, let him know he's just a placeholder until Benn puts together an amazing season or two. He seems like the kind of guy who would completely understand, and he's a long tenured Dallas Star with a long contract ahead of him. I don't think Benn should get it just yet, he should just keep doing what he's doing for now.
