Gloves also do not stop the force (MassxSpeed=Force) it's to stop from breaking your hand.

Take it from a person who knows boxing and punch physics like I know my own mother,,

You sir are not a physicist
Average is 1300?

That is one of the heaviest punches on record from what I read, and the average is 776, and the hardest punch I have ever been able to find online was from Frank Bruno in 1985 which measured 1420.

The glove spreads the impact over a greater surface.

So you are going to tell me that the impact between two 200 pound guys skating 15 miles an hour is less than that? Especially if the contact area is one of those hard elbow pad caps?

You're right, I'm not a physicist, but when I was young I did find myself in traffic school where it was clearly demonstrated that a head on collision generated and impact of 4 times the speed traveled...

I would not enjoy Murray announcing the signing of Alexshander Shemin.

Well, I'd probably chuckle, but I'd be pretty meh about getting Semin.

1-So easy doing what?
2-Again? When was the first time?
3-I saw the white text buddy. Hence the we should discuss Semin more comment. To get the thread back on track from the derailing see. It's sort of sarcastic though, because you said it was a ''great thread'', but most of it has been discussing the Morrow and Semin crap.

Just keep strutting your stuff guy, in reality your just a high school kid who can't even do math

We do need to get tougher but I don't see Kassian as a guy capable of taking a regular shift. Zero hockey skills.

According to the proposal you made on the main boards, you seem to think the answer is Erik Condra.

From the little I've seen from Kassian, I agree. Can't skate, plays poor defence... I want a hockey player who can play a regular shift and fight, not a fighter who looks like a giraffe on skates when he's not fighting.

Toughness doesn't count when it's sitting in the press box. Unless you expect him to throw plates of nachos at troublemakers.

As a spermatozoa, my rich mitochondrial density allowed lightning fast locomotion by means of my flagellum. After winning the race, I first penetrated the corona radiata, followed by the zona pellucida, allowing me to come into direct contact with my ovum's cell membrane. My acrosomal process penetrated the cell membrane, allowing my nucleus to enter the ovum's cytoplasm. The ovum completed meosis II, and the rest as we say, is history.

My life story, bros

I don't understand this mentality.

A) It is not your money.
B) we are below the cap floor. What does it matter if they pay him 7.5 Million?

Team is on a budget. More money to Doan = less money to more important players.

Just because paying Doan 7.5 isn't a handicap right now, doesn't mean that it won't be in the future. It's a 35+ contract and will be stuck on the cap til it ends no matter what.

1) We're below the cap by a few 100k. We can fix that by overpaying JOB/Daugavins if we wanted.
2) It's a 7.5m cap hit for 4 years. It'd handcuff us now and 3 years from now when we're supposedly contenders again.
