hedberg just signed a two year deal with a no trade clause so that he could have some security and move his family up from atlanta. lou lamoriello does not trade someone he just signed. especially not a highly respected veteran with a family and a no trade clause.

there is no room for schnieder, bernier, or any other of these goalies people seem to think nj is going to gut their team for. we have two more years of what we've got.

what part of this do people not get? i don't care if it's smart or not, this is how lou operates. he's given brodeur and hedberg the reigns for another two years. they both have proven to be valuable, loyal players, and are probably the two most respected men in the locker room. fans of other teams can't possibly comprehend how important that is to lou lamoriello. neither will be moved and a replacement won't be acquired until one is needed.

Obviously not. The only thing common among Vancouver fans is that they cheer for the Canucks. Other than that we are individuals who think and act very differently from one another. We're not a herd.

Moose isn't going anywhere, for the reasons already mentioned.

The Devils are pretty high on some of their goalie prospects, in two years they will be ready to get a chance at making the NHL. Until then, we're happy rolling with our 80 year old goalie tandem.
