everyone can't go at once...or maybe none should go...so who would you pick off first?..or maybe you'd pick no one...

eta: i guess since i was the one who started the poll...i should add...no picking Q simply b/c you get a 2 & 1 and think K goes, too.

you can only pick *1*.

Kitchen should not have a job. Q saying their friendship had nothing to do with him getting to stay is a lie.

I went w/ kitchen.

our endless bickering ignores the fact that our players are amongst the most elite in the nhl. there's no reason for our special teams to be basement dwellers...except, of course, for kitchen's involvement.

Quenneville - this would take Kitchen with him.

I really want to see some changes going into next year. Still offensiv minded, but not the way Q lets them play

in the End, FIRE KITCHEN

when Q got ****canned in St. Louis, Kitchen stayed behind and took over the head coaching spot. Is that what you want??

btw his record in two seasons as head coach was 28-63

Kitchen is my vote.

Kitchen would go with Q, no chance that he would stay as HC

Well it's too late. I read this after I voted. Even if they didn't go in the same year, I don't see Kitchen staying long after Q goes. Although I guess it could work the other way around too.

well, it's your own fault for getting greedy. by voting for Q, you've left no coach around but Kitchen. And where does that leave us? No where very good, that's for sure. See what you've done?

Blues fan intruding on your thread. How Mike Kitchen still has a job in the NHL is beyond me. I don't care that he's Q's right hand man, he's an idiot. When he was in St. Louis, the special teams finished near the bottom. Now the Blues are not exactly brimming with elite offensive skill, but there were some players on those teams that could play. Now he's in Chicago and has unbelievably turned what should be one of the best PP in the NHL into a bottom five PP, and what should be a decent PK into a bottom 5 PK. I hope the Hawks finally can him once and for all. Maybe the Wings could use a special teams coach

I'll get triple greedy and say let's bounce stanbo...knowing full well a new GM will want his own guy behind the bench before long

I would prefer that McDonough goes. Just like the other Chicago franchise he was a part of, there seems to be "dysfunction" in how the chain of command operates. He did a great job turning the franchise around and raising the profile quickly and effectively, but now it's time to go, I fear he still meddles too much.

I think he's the root of the perceived animosity and/or real animosity between Q and Bowman and/or others.

Next, I want Kitchen gone. Special teams are a mess and it was absolutely terrible watching how badly PHX' staff and Tippett were a step ahead of Chicago almost the entire series. I blame the coaching staff. I want Q to get another shot and Kitchen gone. The Hawks were almost a 3 g/g team but only scored first in 36 games (down from 47 in 2011), disgusting. After dominating in that category the 2 years previous, I think it contributed to a number of their problems last year. I think that falls on the coaching staff not having the team ready.

Tough to say which coach or coaches are really responsible for all the problems, but I take more pleasure in blaming Kitchen even though I have no tangible reason to put the blame on him.

A tough choice for sure. If this season is as disappointing as last on all fronts, all 3 should be gone.

My choice was Kitchen as the worst of a sorry lot but if this team starts the season with the roster we have now, I'd change that to Stan.

Kitchen, ainec. Still think that Bowman's at least a decent GM and Q's a good coach, but I have nothing nice whatsoever to say about Kitchen.

Q hired Kitchen and if he is gone the new coach most likely wouldn't keep him. It would be a win-win for both me and Panzer

I like Q, Bowman is a decent GM, so I went with Kitchen by default.

But, I do think if we fail again this year (1st round exit/miss playoffs) the entire front office should be let go. (Bowman, Q, Kitchen, new assistant, MacIver, etc)

McIver is the new assistant. Gauthier replaced McIver.

All we need now is a Havi replacement

Bowman without a doubt in my mind. If Kitchen is so bad then Bowman, the GM, should've not allowed it anyway.

He doesn't deserve to be GM, only is because of his dad.

He's shown high confidence when he wasn't supposed to [Hjalmarsson and Niemi thing, losing your Stanley Cup winning goalie cuz you don't think an offer sheet is coming your way is unacceptable]. And he hasn't been confident enough when needed [overpaying 5th-6th d-men Oduya, Montador..etc]

Bowman is letting a hall of fame coach do what he feels necessary to win, what a terrible idea!

He does deserve to be the GM.

Niemi isn't any better than Crawford, but is signed to a contract that pays him 1.2mil more. Hammer holds more value right now than Niemi does.

Oduya is not over paid at all.

Try again.

I voted for Kitchen, but it was a really close decision for me. Kitchen is definitely the person I most want fired (hence why he received my vote), but John McDonough is right on his heels as the person (other than Kitchen) I most want removed from anything involving hockey operations. I don't necessarily want McD fired, because he has done a good job generating buzz and excitement about the team. I just want Bowman to buy him one of the electric dog collars, modified to be used by a remote, so that whenever McD opens his mouth about anything having to do with the on ice product Bowman can press a button and zap him into submission.
